The Guardians week in review.

The Guardians had 7 games this week 4 at home against the Twins and 3 in ST Louis.

In the first game against the Twins won 4-3

After falling behind 3-0the Guardians came back to win powered by a big 2-run HR by rookie Kyle Manzardo in the 8th a big win for the Guardians. In the 2nd game of the series the Guardians lost 4-1, not many hits, and the bum Nick Sandlin gave up a 2 run in the 8th to seal our fate. In the 3rd game of the series, the Guardians won 5-4 in 10 innings the Guardians were down by 2 runs in the bottom of the tenth but put up 3 runs when Rocchio walk-off single.

In the final game of the series, the Guardians won 3-2 in ten innings to clinch a postseason birth. In the 1st game against the Cardinals, the Guardians won 5-1 Ramierz hit HR, solid Pitching by Lively, and the pen led to the win.

In the 2nd game of the series the Guardians lost 6-5, but clinched the division with a Royals loss, errors by Gimenez and Naylor in the same inning, and an HR given up by that bum Sandlin led to the loss, Ramierz did hit an HR.

In the final game of the series, the Guardians lost 2-1 I did not watch the game so I won't comment on it.

Overall we went 4-3 but it was very successful since we won the division in the 7 games.

The Pitching was solid in almost every game big time clutch hitting against the Twins we are closing in on the 2-seed which will give us a first-round bye solid week of baseball.
