The Guardians had 6 games this week 3 at home against the Cubs and 3 on the road against the first-place Brewers.

It started out on a very good note but ended on a sour note.

In the first game against the Cubs, the Guardians won 9-8 after falling behind 3-0 the Guardians went ahead 8-3 powered by a 3 run by Big Sexy, Kwan added an HR it seemed the Guardians were on their way to an easy victory but thanks to bad pitching by Barlow and Sandlin the Cubs tie it, but the Guardians went ahead in the bottom of the 8th and Clase closed it out. In the 2nd game, the Guardians won 2-1 Noel had another big HR, and Boyd's first appearance as a Guardian went really well.

In the 3rd game the Guardians won 6-1 a good pitching performance by Cobb solid hitting completed the sweep.

The first game against the Brewers the Guardians lost 5-3 a bad start by Gavin Williams and not being able to score off a bad Civale led to the loss. In the 2nd game, the Guardians lost 2-1 lack of hitting was the reason for the loss.

In the final game of the series, the Guardians lost 2-0 again zero hitting lead to the a disappointing end-of-the-series sweep.

The Guardians only scored 4 runs in 3 games their approach to hitting was terrible I saw them going for the HR more than anything else never adjusted to any of the Brewer's pitching and not showing much life in their at-bats, the sad thing is they only gave up 9 runs, you have to hit the ball in order to win games.
