The Guardians went 4-2 on the homestand against the White Sox and the Giants.
In the first game against the White Sox, it was a back-and-forth game with the Guardians winning on a walk-off a sacrifice fly by Bo Naylor.
In the second game, we got rocked 8-2, Gavin Williams's first start of the season was not a good one, but I'm not worried at all about him.
In the last game of the series the Guardians won 8-4 a nice 4th of July win, a nice 4-run 4th helped Kwann homered, and Lively pitched a solid six innings for the win.
In the first game against the Giants lost 4-2 lack of clutch hitting was our down fall.
The Guards bounced back in game 2 with a 5-4 win HRs by Kwan and Noel led us to victory and the bullpen was solid except for Barlow.
And the series finale the Guardians came back to win 5-4 led by a huge 3-run pinch-hit HR by Bo Naylor he had a very nice series.
The bottom line is the Guardians won both series not every game was pretty, but this team showed true grit the whole homestand.
Back in the road 4 in Detroit and 3 in Tampa, before the All-Star break.
