The Guardians played 6 games this week 3 against the Yankees in New York and 3 at home against the Rangers. In the first game, the Guardians won 9-5 after back-to-back HRs by Soto and Judge the Guardians fell by 2-0 but the Guardians took a 3-2 lead but got tied up, the Guardians left a small village on the basepaths untill finally breaking out in the 12th inning with big hits the biggest by Fry.
In the 2nd game, the Guardians lost 8-1, hrs by Soto and Judge again, and lack of hitting led to the defeat. In the 3rd game, the Guardians lost 6-0 Judge HR again, and Wilams forgot how to pitch after 3 innings.
In the 1st game against Texas, the Guardians lost 5-3 a rough 2nd inning by Bibee put us behind 4-0, and a lack of clutch hitting was the demise for the Guardians. In 2nd game of the series, the Guardians won 13-5 finally the bats broke out HRs by Noel, Ramierz, and the Naylor brothers, and a solid pitching performance by Lively led to the win. In the final game of the series, the Guardians won 4-2 a good start by Boyd and HRs by Noel and Fry, and Clase was dominant in closing giving the Guardians the series win.
Overall the Guardians bounced back after losing 6 of 7 with good pitching and finally scoring runs it wasn't a great week, but at least we won the last 2 and remained in 1st place we still need to be better at the plate, especially with the Royals here for 4 games.
