Guardians week in review.

The Guardians had 7 games this week 3 against Arizona at home and 4 on the road in Minnesota.

It started out really ugly and ended up being good. They opened up against Arizona and lost 7-6 in 10 innings Allen started and it was an ugly 1st inning giving up HRs to the first 2 hitters and taking a line drive off his head by the 4th batter but he somehow stayed in the game and pitched a solid 5 innings but the bullpen bew a couple of leads and no clutch hitting lead to the loss. The 2nd game was rained out so they had to play a DH the next day and in the first In the game they lost 7-3, Lively did not pitch well, and again no clutch hitting, the next game they lost 5-3 fell behind early got close but the pen didn't do its job, got swept at home now the losing streak is 5. Off to Minnesota in the first game of another DH, they lost 4-2 again not good enough starting pitching and zero clutch hitting.

In the second game, they lost 6-3 after taking a lead of 3-2 Cobb couldn't hold the lead giving up a 3-run HR, making it 7 straight. In the 3rd game, the Guardians finally won 2-1 Williams pitched a solid 6 innings, and HRS by Kwan and Naylor led us to finally breaking the losing streak. In the final game of the series, the Guardians won 5-3 Bibee finally back pitched very well, and the Guardians got an HR from Ramierz the Guards held a 5-1 lead until the 8th Sandlin gave up a 2-run HR, no idea why he was brought in, and Clase pitched into an out of basses loaded no out situation in the 9th giving up zero runs.

Overall it started ugly but they showed some guts in winning the last two remaining 3.5-game lead in the division so I can't be mad at them about that hopefully they keep up with the winning.
