The Guardians had 6 games this week 2 on the road in the Detroit and 4 at home against the Orioles.
It started out great but ended on a down note.
The first game in Detroit the Guardians won 8-4 a solid start by Bibee and HRs by Ramierz and Bo Naylor lead the Victory.
In the second game, the Guardians won 5-0 Gavin Williams pitched 5 shutout innings, and the bullpen did another solid job, hrs by Ramierz and Josh Naylor carried the offense.
Then they played the Orioles and in the first game the Guardians won 10-3 an excellent start by Ben Lively and a big HR by Fry along with hrs by Ramierz and Bo Naylor dominated the O’s.
In the second game, the Guardians won 8-4 Cookie only went 4.1 but only gave up one hit the Guardian's bullpen was again solid, they scored in a lot of different ways for the win.
They lost game three 8-4 where the pitching, hitting, and defense didn't show up, and the O’s took advantage of it.
In the final game, they lost 9-5 Williams was not good, and after cutting the lead to one, the bullpen could not stop the bleeding, note none of our main bullpen guys pitched the last two games.
Overall it was a successful 6 games but a little disappointed after winning the first 4 the Orioles can hit and our pitching staff in the final two games didn't perform well, yes I'm probably too tough on Willams but he has to be more consistent.
